For the last week of 2013, we'll be reviewing all the reviews this year for the best smartphones of the year from different sources. We are trying to discover "What are the top best coolest hottest smartphones of 2013."

Today, we look at Consumer Reports. When we first started this feature, Consumer Reports, was not at the bleeding edge of the topic like tech reviewers. Now that smartphones are mainstream, Consumer reports has improved greatly and also survey their readers to see what they thought of their carriers.

Best Buy Best Cyber Monday/Week Deals $50 Code; Better than Walmart on Samsung Galaxy S4, iPhone 5c, Tab 3 and Nexus

We found out that Best Buy is giving out saving codes of up to $50 when you chose in-store pick-up for items bought online through Cyber Monday. In fact, we discovered that Best Buy online on Saturday through Cyber Monday is better than Walmart in some cases for mobile phones and when you throw a $5o coupon to spend after December 9, it is very compelling indeed.

Update November 23, 2014:The incredible Samsung Galaxy S5 for $1 deal is now live at Best Buy for Black Friday 2014. iPad Air 2 deals are coming and we suspect that will sell out quickly.

Yes there is a surprise gift from BestBuy, when you order online, you get a coupon code worth $50 to buy more online or in store when after December 9 through Christmas. Best Buy online until Saturday is better than Walmart in some cases for mobile phones when you factor in the $50 coupon that sends Best Buy over the top. The deal started today, Saturday and runs through Best Buy calls it "Get Up To A Free $50 Savings Code At BestBuy.com When You Choose Store Pickup. The official end date is 12/03, Cyber Monday. The value card gives you $10 per $100 purchased.

We noticed today under under tablets, at BestBuy.com that prices were $50-$75 off the iPad Air, add another $50 that makes it very tempting.

Samsung Galaxy S 4 and iPhone 5 Buy Signs, BlackBerry Bye-Bye

Canaccord Analytst Mike Walkley's latest research note still believes in the power of the iPhone 5, likes Samsung and suggests that BlackBerry shareholders get out of Dodge.

He stated that "a very strong initial Samsung Galaxy S4 global launch with Samsung supplying the Galaxy S4 to over 300 carriers in 155 countries the next several weeks” may help Samsung “extending its leading smartphone market share” in the second quarter, after ending Q1 with 33% share.

It seems like everywhere you look today, there's news about the Samsung Galaxy S 4, where to buy it, why to buy it, breaking news (literally) and the way to launch it in style or in parody.

Samsung Galaxy S 4 in Some Stores

The Samsung Galaxy S 4 is now on sale at T-Mobile online on a first come, first server basis with the warning that "quantities are expected to be limited." The SG S4 is not expected in T-Mobile select stores until May 8 and all stores, May 15.

Sprint issued a statement, today, that the Samsung Galaxy is available through sales channels including stores and online with expected new shipments, received daily.

AT&T began selling it on Saturday while Verizon won't sell S4 in-stores until May 30. A recent study suggestes that there will be a strong demand for the Galaxy S 4.
