4 More Weeks to Eventful HTC EVO 4G with 6/6 Release?

Android spies looking in cases at at Radio Shack store found some promo sheets about the HTC EVO 4G coming from Sprint in 4 weeks on June 6. He then took photos of the fliers which were posted online.

Features noted in the  HTC EVO 4G the flyers include HTC Scenes, and four full weeks of education about he HTC EVO 4G smartphone. It is also suspected that it will sell for around $200.

The HTC EVO 4G   is about the size size as the HTC HD2 with a 8 megapixel camera, front facing 1.3 mp camera(for Skype / video conferencing) 4.3 , Wi-Fi, touchscreen with added bonus of 4G data speeds through Sprint's WiMax network. The browser supports Adobe Flash and you can set up the HTC EVO 4 as a mobile hotspot and record/watch HD video.

There will be special plans developed for the hotspot service which could be used for group online gaming, cloud-based apps, augmented reality and shared video.

The  HTC EVO 4G smartphone is expected to have data speeds 10x faster than 3G, Android 2.1 with HTC Sense. It will be previewed at screening of the Prince of Persia in New York on May 12.

It will compete with the smallerwell-reviewed HTC Droid Incredible, BlackBerry Bold 9650 (BlackBerryTour2), and new Windows Phone kinds of KIN we mapped out in our spring release calendar. Another suspected release date for the HTC EVO 4G  has been June 13.

Some bloggers are saying the HTC EVO 4G is an iPhone killer and that they will leave AT&T for Sprint and HTC EVO 4G.

The HTC EVO 4G is about the same size as the always selling out HTC HD2 from T-Mobile.
Reviews refer to the large 4.3 inch AMOLED touchscreen (larger than the iPhone) showing video as absolutely gorgeous.  The camera takes great photos. The HTC Sense UI is user-friendly and combines contacts. The onscreen keyboard with Swype is spacious and easy to use. Browsing is delightful with pinch to zoom. The processor is super fast making the HTC HD2 the best smartphone T-Mobile has to offer.
