Smartphone (iPhone, BlackBerry, LG Ally, Android an' Droid) Launch Dates for May and June Shown on Wireless and Mobile News New Calendars

WirelessandMobileNewsCalendar.JPGThere a lot of smartphones (iPhone, BlackBerry, LG Ally, Android an' Droid) coming up the pipe this summer and it's hard to keep track of the what and when of them.

There are pre-sale dates and then official launch dates, these can all figure into your smartphone decision- making, say for example if you wait a few weeks, you can get a smartphone with more features for about the same price.  We found that for us the best way to view all the launches in a box-style calendar.

We have not been able to find the kind of calendar we wanted anywhere else so we made our own for May and June and will keep moving it out for the rest of year.
Let's look at what we've seen so far in
May.
  Although the
well-reviewed
Droid Incredible started selling on April, it
frequently sold-out with delivery dates a week or two after after
order.

The HTC EVO 4G was announced on May 12 to come out
on
June
4. The Palm Pre Plus came to AT&T on May 16,

The
BlackBerry Bold 9650
(formerly Tour2) is due from Sprint on
May 23 with a not-known June launch from Verizon.

The myTouch
3G Slide

. The latest iPhone 4G is expected sometime around June 22, with
announcement in early June at WWDC.The LG Ally has a silver-and-black outer case
with 3.2" touchscreen (with tactile vibration) and slide-out QWERTY

including an augmented reality
app,
Iron
Man 2
content and comic book, contests and

community.
The micro-site reminds users, "Failure is not an
option."

The HTC EVO 4G allows for simultaneous voice and data connections
Video calls can be made via Qik over its EV-DO and WiMAX networks. It
has the usual smartphone features including Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooh, visual
