Verizon's upcoming
Droid 2 to have 5 megapixel camera, 8GB of Flash storage, 8 Gigabyte microSD included, 512 mb of memory, QWERTY keyboard, 1GHz processor and 3G mobile hotspot capable in a leaked Verizon summer catalog. It has been rumored that the
Droid 2 will have a 1 GHz TI OMAP3630 processor.
Other popular leaked information concerning the
Droid 2 includes an August 23rd launch date so that it can ship with Android 2.2.
JPL Intern Zack wrote, " the Verizon representatives told me that it most probably wouldn't be
coming with that on it and would probably have Froyo (Android 2.2) plain
(without any skin)."
One blogger reported that
Droid 2 comes in dark blue while JPL
Intern Zack reported it will come in
dark
chrome color.
Verizon
Wireless has had considerable success with the
Droid line
of smartphones the
