Verizon officially announced that their Galaxy S Phone, the Samsung Fasciante will be available online on tomorrow and in stores on Wednesday.

The Samsung Galaxy S phones including the Samsung Fascinate have a 4 inch Super AMOLED touchscreen.  The AMOLED makes for brilliant colors and the super makes it so that it can be seen in super lighted areas such as direct sunlight.

The news release claims, powered by Android 2.1, the Fascinate refines customers' social networking experiences with its Super AMOLED Screen Technology, advanced touchscreen capabilities, Samsung 1 GHz Cortex A8 Hummingbird Application Processor, and virtual QWERTY keyboard featuring SWYPE technology.  

The Samsung Fasciante will come with 2 GB of internal storage,a 16 GB microSD memory card that can be replaced with a 32 GB microSD card. The 5.0-megapixel camera with auto-focus and an LED flash will support HD (720p) video recording and playback. Other features include GPS, Stereo Bluetooth, Wi-Fi (802.11 b/g/n) and a 3.5 mm headset jack.

The Samsung Fascinate has Amazon's Kindle for Android app pre-loaded.  Samsung has added some social, media and feed features including Social Hub, Integrated Calendar, Integrated Contacts, News Feeds, AllShare DLNA, note-taking and Weather.

The Samsung Fascinate is priced at $199.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate with a new two-year customer agreement.  Customers will need to subscribe to a Verizon Wireless Nationwide Talk plan (beginning at $39.99 monthly access) and an Email and Web for Smartphone plan (beginning at $29.99 for unlimited monthly access).

Because of the display shortage, we have no way of knowing if the Samsung Fascinate will be another sell-out like the other the Verizon Android smartphones were earlier this year.  When a phone is very popular, your best bet is to pre-order online at the Verizon website in the wee hours of the morning, before the frenzy starts.
