Now there is an Android and iPhone app for that.  GiddyUp claims the app makes social event planning easy and efficient.  The app requires a smartphone with Internet and SMS  to participate in group planning, no sign?up required.

iPhone iOS 5.1.1 Update Out

iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch owners are getting an update to, today to iOS 5.1.1.

The update includes glitch fixes and other enhancements.  The update available through iTunes is 54.4MB improves HDR from the lock screen and fixes for network switching, AirPlay, Safari bookmarks and purchasing alerts.
