Apple Will Go Against IP Stealers and No Nano Phone

iphone-gestures.jpgDuring Apple's conference call, Interim CEO, Tim Cook implied that Apple will go after iPhone clones, "I don't want to talk about any specific company,"  explaining that it was "just a general statement," but that Apple is "ready to suit up and go against anyone... we will not stand for having our IP ripped off and will use whatever weapons we have at our disposal." reported ElectricPig.

The implication seems to be a warning about Apple's multi-touch in the iPhone and phones like the  Palm Pre which showed screen swiping gestures at CES.  The Palm Pre will have a much more sophisticated 3.2 mexapixel camera than the iPhone's camera.

Cook also said debunking rumors of a cheaper Nano Phone,  "You know us, we're not going to play in the low-end voice phone business. That's not who we are."
