Palm Pre Apps: City Search with Location-Based Cafe/Movie Finding/Mapping

Online local guide, Citysearch is now offering its new Mobile by Citysearch app for the Palm Pre smartphone.

The Palm Pre Mobile by Citysearch helps users browse, search and share local business information via Twitter, and post real-time reviews to Citysearch. 

Mobile by Citysearch uses location-based services to automatically find the nearest restaurants, cafes, banks or movie theaters to the user's location, and provides directions with Google Maps.

Users can share a recommendation or their present location with people in their address book using email, SMS or Twitter from within Citysearch. The Mobile by Citysearch application for Palm Pre is integrated with users' tools to:

• Submit user reviews on local restaurants, bars, boutiques, salons, etc.
  
• Search and sort and  auto-identify your location through enhanced GPS search and browse nearby destinations. Or you cans search by keyword or category within a city, or by key listing attributes including distance, cost and Citysearch rating.
• Browse editorial and user reviews and advice from business owners and bookmark favorite listings.
• Twitter: Post to your followers by tweeting reviews, tips, and more to friends, directly from any listing page.
• Share: Use Text or Email to share business listings from Palm Pre

Mobile by Citysearch is available for free in the Palm Pre's on-device beta App Catalog. They also offer  BlackBerry and iPhone applications/apps.
