The super Android smartphone from Google the
Nexus One experienced issues when it was released with
3G connections. Owners of
Nexus One smartphones had problems with 3G all over the globe. Rumors have circulated that there would bel be OTA fix for the problem in the future which has been debunked in the
Nexus One Forum by a Google employee.
"While we are continuing to monitor user feedback regarding the
3G performance on the
Nexus One, we are
no longer investigating further engineering improvements at this time," responded
Nexus One Google rep Ry Guy(couldn't be his real name.)
Nexus One users who are still dropping out of 3G the suggestion is to "try changing your location or even the orientation of your phone, as
this may help in areas with weaker coverage."
Some bloggers suggest that the problem is with the HTC, because the HTC
Droid Incredible has similar uses with 3G. Forum members claim to
see a drop in reception when they hold their hand over the trackball.
In places where couples have two T-Mobile phones, the one without th3
Nexus One is able to get 3G coverage while the other spouse can't get
reception with a Nexus One.
The Nexus One has veen
profitable for Google.The
Nexus One received a high-powered
update with new features including multi-touch in the browser and
maps. It now has voice to text filling in fields as well as
turn-by-turn
navigation. The Google Nexus One received excellent
reviews,
and then "issues" appeared with long waits for email support and
touchiness with the touchscreen, which have been fixed.
For a
while the
Nexus One was the only Android smartphone with Android
Eclair 2.1. An update to Android 2.1 was recently pushed out to
Droid
smartphones.
The
Nexus One in
April, May and June faces some stiff competition from the
Droid Incredible,
BlackBerry Bold 9650,
HTC EVO 4G
and new
KIN social Windows Phones.
Nexus One is available for
AT&T
and will be available for
Sprint.

Like 
Recently i had an 3G smart phone,i had much heard about the 3g services that provides the high resolution for video streaming on the go and affordable way to watch free tv video online,recently i saw a review on cnn news online but surprisingly i am completely disharted by the fact that actually 3g services were not as good what they claimed to be,to surf on the most watched news networks in 3g proves to be a hard deal for me and instead wasting lot of time to get the proper connectivity better,i prefer to pick a newspaper or simply switch on my television set to stay updated.
