Goby Android app is now in Android Marketplace, it helps users go out and find activities and things. Their website claims "Goby is an inspiration engine all about exploring things to do with your
free time, from this weekend's adventure to your next week off."
The Goby Android App has over 350 categories of things to do, from hiking and
caving to
restaurants and galleries. It covers every city, town and region in the United States with geo-location at star. The result lists complete with photos, maps and phone numbers. Goby also gives users the ability to share things to do through Twitter, Facebook and
email
The Android app allows users to quickly find nearby activities and
events, make weekend plans or explore a new location in just three
taps.
Once users select the desired activity from goby's search results,
a
single tap will highlight specific details about that activity
such as
complete descriptions, reviews and photos. One more tap lets users
share
activities via social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter,
creating an easy way to share plans and recommendations with
family and
friends.
More features will be added to allow people to create, edit and
share Goby
content.
