Nexus 7 Deal $195Best Buy is started off this week with Green Monday and today should be called Nexus Wednesday.  For the first time, we've seen a price reduction on the new Nexus 7 16GB icon with Best Buy taking $35.00 off making it $194.99 with free standard shipping, it should arrive by December 24.

 Update November 23, 2014:The incredible Samsung Galaxy S5 for $1 deal is now live at Best Buy for Black Friday 2014. iPad Air 2 deals are coming and we suspect that will sell out quickly. T-Mobile started its deals. Virgin Mobile has cut prices, already. Verizon deals are on the horizon. AT&T has not announced its daily deals. However, Sprint has some new deals ready

The Nexus 7 16GB Second Generation or 2013 7" tablet gets the fastest updates to Android for any tablet. It is pure Android and good deal when it goes below $200.

CNET named the Nexus 7 (2103) the best Android tablet for its sharp full HD screen, fast performance, lightweight, and great value at $229.99.  The only down fall is that it lacks a microSD expansion slot.  At .66 lbs its slightly lighter than the iPad mini.

The Nexus 7 has a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro system on chip with a quad-core Krait CPU and a single-core Adreno 320 GPU, 2GB of RAM and 802.11 a/b/g/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz) Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 (including Bluetooth Smart support), and a GPS.  It also has a gyroscope, accelerometer, and a digital compass.

As we noted before this year, there have been more discounts on new model smartphones and tablets than we expected.

Although the smartphone market is getting saturated, some people could use another tablet in the house this Nexus 7 deal is today Wednesday only.  We suspect the sale end at midnight Central Time in the United States.
