Verizon Wireless released apps so that their customers can use their Android, Droid or BlackBerry Storm ( 1 and 2) smartphones to manage their accounts from their smartphones and monitor family usage. Current Verizon Android an' Droid smartphones include the
Droid 2 ,
Motorola Droid X,
LG Ally,
DROID Incredible by HTC,
Motorola Devour, and
Droid by Motorola.
Using
the new and enhanced mobile account management application, My Verizon
Mobile, Verizon Wireless customers can now use these smartphones to
quickly and easily:
- View minute, message and data usage.
- Adjust allowance minutes on current plans.
- Make one-time payments and set up and maintain auto-pay.
- View upgrade eligibility and contract end date.
- Manage Friends & Family® numbers.
In
addition, customers still can utilize the same features they have come
to rely upon to manage accounts 24/7, including checking balances,
changing features, getting bill reprints, changing addresses, resetting
voice mail passwords, and accessing Family Locator.
My
Verizon Mobile is now preloaded on all Android devices and is available
on the BlackBerry Storm and BlackBerry Storm2 smartphones through an
update at no charge for existing users. My Verizon Mobile will be made
available on additional BlackBerry smartphones and on Feature and 3G
Multimedia phones in the coming months.
