Suspected makers of
Palm Pre apps have been outed by
PalmInfoCenter. The partners most likely have access to the webOS SDK and are already developing apps for the
Palm Pre. Partners were announced at CES. Here are the companies followed by their suspected apps.
- MovieTickets.com - movie tickets, show times.
- Fandango - movie tickets, show times.
- SplashData - digital wallets, I.D. encryptions or shopping services.
- AOL - connections to web mail, contact syncing, or IM.
- TeleNav - GPS navigation and mapping.
- Chapura -3rd party Outlook sync.
- Yahoo! - Yahoo! mail and other mobile services.
- Amazom - music store and possibly books.
- MobiTV - mobile TV.
- DataViz - possible MS Doc support, PDF viewer and others.
- facebook - access to facebook capabilities.
- Google - search and other Google mobile apps, maps and YouTube.
- Pandora Internet Radio - streaming music.
- Sprint - Sprint services, such as TV and others.
