There's a new free Android app from Mint.com, online personal finance service..The app lets Mint.com users get a snapshot of their financial picture and manage their finances. Mobile users tend to check their account information frequently to make informed spending decisions.

Android Mint app users can create a free account at www.mint.com , or use their existing account to access the new Android operating system features. Users can search for and find recent transactions. There's a Mint.com widget to access a snapshot of overall cash flow in real-time. There's also Android Live folders to get financial updates on the phone's home screen without launching the Mint.com application.

Uers also lets user see real-time account balances, check recent transactions; compare their spending against their monthly budgets, and edit transaction details.

The password-protected application provides e data security. If an Android phone is lost or stolen, users can immediately disable access from the Mint.com website.

The Mint.com application is available for Android OS versions 1.5, 1.6 and 2.0. More information about the Mint.com Android application is available at Mint.com or Android Market.
